Part of the joy of vintage shopping is discovering something you never knew you’d love! We recommend having an open mind regarding style, silhouette, color, decade and designer. Your stylists are there to help, and will gladly steer if you’re open to their expert guidance!
Stay creative.
You might love just parts of something or the size might not be quite right. Your stylists will help you imagine the possibilities! Are construction project or new styling might just be the ticket!
Have faith.
Trust the process, the vintage gods have your back!
Timing is everything.
Know that the right piece may not be in store at the time of your appointment, but that we always offer Return Customer appointments (for a nominal fee of $25).
Tailoring is usually a must.
Be mindful that most pieces will require tailoring for a perfect fit.Your HI stylists will chat you through their recommendations for tailoring.
Guests want to try-on too?
Book two appointments in a row if you have 3 or more members in your party that would like to try-on! An hour and fifteen minutes goes a long way, but we never want things to feel rushed.
Sizing on your mind?
Size 10/12 (measurements: bust 38" waist 32" hips 41")? Options are available but more limited. If these are your measurements, please come with an open mind. Our trusted HI stylists will guide you towards our current selection. If your measurements go beyond the above, we may or may not have a selection for you at any given time. Due to the nature of vintage as well as our quickly moving inventory, it's impossible to make promises about what we have in the salon day-to-day.
But don’t stress!
We fully believe in the kismet of vintage. Sometimes you need to walk away and gather your thoughts! If it’s the right piece it will still be waiting for you when you’re ready.
