Most rewarding part of the job? I truly love showing clients something they would have never pulled for themselves and watching them fall in love.

Who are your style icons? Some combination of Edie Sedgwick, Margot Tenenbaum, Tracee Ellis Ross and Chloe Sevigny…with Gena Rowlands’s hair.

Favorite movie? Grease, Cleo from 5 to 7, Moneyball, Barbie, The Big Short. (I have taste that oscillates between glamorpuss and a dad in his 50s.) 

Favorite TV show? The Wire, The Other Two, Taskmaster, Mad Men.

Favorite book? Play It As It Lays by Joan Didion

Favorite podcast? Missed Apex, Articles of Interest, How Did This Get Made?, Off Menu.

Favorite song right now? Buckle Bunny by Tanner Adell

Cats or Dogs? Show us your pet…

Cats always. I have a Siberian diluted calico named Fiorucci who I’m obsessed with. She’s a big glamorous fluff just like me. 

Cocktail or black tie? Cocktail. Show me the shoes! 

Silver or gold? Both!

Most worn piece in your closet? It’s usually some kind of leopard print dress. Right now I’m wearing my leopard print shirtdress from Ganni at least once a week. 

Favorite piece in your closet? Currently, my hot pink Molly Goddard bubble dress. 

 Favorite vintage designers? Gene Shelly, Christian Dior, Bill Blass, Emma Domb, Ceil Chapman.

Favorite contemporary designers? Miuccia Prada, Molly Goddard, Collina Strada, Emma Chopova + Laura Lowena (Chopova Lowena), Tanner Richie + Fletcher Kasell (Tanner Fletcher), Simone Rocha, Nicolaj Reffstrup + Ditte Reffstrup (Ganni), Cecilie Bahnsen, and J.W Anderson.  

Favorite outfit you ever wore? When I was little, I had a denim mini skirt that I loved so much I refused to take it off. I even slept in it. I can’t think of a fashion commitment I’ve had since!

Biggest fashion regret? No fashion regrets ever! Trend cycles are so short and overlapping now as long as it feels like me nothing to regret. How much I used to use Anastasia of Beverly Hills dipbrow in black… that was regretful. 

Biggest fashion pet peeve? Belting a tent dress! 99 percent of the time it ruins the flow and lines of the dress. No need to always show off your waist… we know it’s under there! 

Favorite celeb red carpet look? Currently, Yseult at the Cannes Film Festival in the Dior Bar Suit. (So obsessed I wrote an article on it!) But Gwyneth Paltrow at the Oscars in 1999 in the pink Ralph Lauren gown will always be a moment for me. 

Favorite liquid treat? Iced latte with tache pistachio milk OR a crispy fountain coke. 

Favorite solid treat? A chocolate chip cookie. Either homemade, whole foods brown butter, Levain, MilkJar (RIP), Milkfarm… I try and always have them in my house. I even have a special cat shaped cookie jar for them – we call her “Cookie cat” obviously. 

Your ice-breaker fun fact? I was supposed to be named Texanna. 

Describe your perfect date? My husband and I snag a table at someplace delicious like Dear John, Anajak Thai, or Quarter Sheets Pizza. Then we go to Vidiots to rent a movie – old school style. My husband picks something esoteric and probably a little spooky. I pick something about a woman with excellent hair who does something terrible. We stop for ice cream at Magpies in Highland Park then head home to cuddle our cat Fiorucci and have decaf cappuccinos while we watch my movie first. Because he’s a gentleman. 

 Are you a black cat or a golden retriever? I refuse the premise of this question. I’m a happy cat person – we exist! 

Are you a Barbie, Bratz, Polly Pocket or American Girl Doll? Polly Pocket / Barbie hybrid. I want to have my aesthetic lil’ world and lots of accessories.
